Job Description - Corporate Trainer

Goal:

Improving skill with the intent of delivering great Customer Experience.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Create high-quality training modules that will be used for new employee onboarding as

well as continuous improvement.

  • Use empirical data from incoming support requests, and feedback from management to

determine key training topics.

  • Leverage various mediums including PowerPoint and lab demonstrations to maximize

material retention.

  • Provide a strong context for how technical principles relate to our products, and most

importantly to our customer's experience.

  • Develop post-training and continuous improvement assessments that accurately reflect

scenarios experienced in production.

  • Test out new products/features in order to deliver introductory training.
  • Inspire and excite engineers by delivering the training in an interactive relatable manner.

Required Skills:

Technical:

  • Strong understanding of Computer and core Networking Fundamentals such as DHCP,

DNS, OSI model, IP addressing, Vlans, etc.

  • Knowledge on technologies such as Wireless, Switching, Routing, Firewall, VPN, IoT,

Software Defined Networking, etc.

Non-Technical:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Adept at identifying the skill level of the audience, listening, questioning, explaining, and

giving feedback.

  • Passionate about Technology.
  • Enthusiasm and Eagerness to learn new products.
  • Be able to adapt to the business requirement and improvise training content accordingly.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Proficient with Presentation based Applications like MS PowerPoint, Google Slides &

Sheets.

Education/Experience:

2-5 years of Training experience in relevant industry/environment.
