Digital Marketing Executive
Job Description:
ROLE SUMMARY
We are looking for a Digital Marketing Executive who can plan and run campaigns that build awareness and
bring in quality leads from the UK. You will be the person who ties the social media and website work together,
so every channel is pulling in the same direction.
This is a practical role. You will be expected to research, write, create and publish content, rather than simply
coordinate external suppliers. You should have broad marketing experience together with enough design and website
knowledge to produce high quality work independently.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Help plan and deliver targeted digital marketing campaigns.
• Create engaging content for LinkedIn and other appropriate social channels.
• Write and edit website pages, articles, emails, case studies, brochures and campaign material.
• Turn customer conversations, product developments and industry issues into useful content.
• Interview colleagues and customers to gather information for case studies and success stories.
• Develop evidence led content that demonstrates measurable customer outcomes.
• Create and manage campaign calendars and publishing schedules.
• Maintain and update WordPress website content.
• Produce simple graphics, infographics, presentations and social media assets.
• Support email campaigns, including segmentation, content preparation and performance review.
• Support pre-event and post-event campaigns for exhibitions, conferences and webinars.
• Research target sectors, organisations, decision makers and competitor activity.
• Help maintain accurate prospect and marketing databases.
• Monitor competitor messaging, product announcements, recruitment and market activity.
• Support marketing across ChariotWeb, Cyber Security and Together For Good.
CROSS-FUNCTIONAL / SHARED RESPONSIBILITIES
This is a small team, so people naturally pitch in beyond their own patch. Alongside your main role, you will
share the following with the rest of the Marketing team:
• Chip in on a shared content calendar and plan campaigns together across social, website, and email.
• Keep UK-English quality and one consistent brand tone across everything the team publishes.
• Cover for each other during leave or busy campaign periods.
• Brief the social media and website functions on what each campaign needs, from landing pages to SEO
priorities.
• Step in to help with social scheduling or website updates when things get busy.
• Own the shared reporting so the whole team works from the same numbers.
Essential skills and experience
• Experience in a digital marketing, content marketing or broad marketing role.
• Strong written English and the ability to write clearly for a UK business audience.
• Experience producing content for websites, email campaigns and LinkedIn.
• Working knowledge of WordPress and the confidence to update pages and publish content.
• Basic graphic design skills using Canva, Adobe Creative Cloud, Figma or similar tools.
• The ability to make technical or detailed information understandable and engaging.
• Experience planning and coordinating campaigns against agreed deadlines.
• Good research and information verification skills.
• Strong attention to detail and the confidence to gather information from senior, sales and technical colleagues.
• The ability to work independently while responding constructively to review and feedback.
Desirable experience
• Marketing within software, SaaS, cyber security, retail technology or another business to business environment.
• Creating customer case studies and evidence led marketing content.
• Basic HTML and CSS.
• Search engine optimisation, website analytics and email marketing platforms.
• Video editing, animation or webinar production.
• PowerPoint and presentation design.
• CRM systems, contact database management and competitor research.
• Experience using AI tools for research, drafting and content production with appropriate human review.
What we are looking for
The successful candidate will be curious, commercially aware and comfortable taking ownership. You should look
beyond a request for a social post or brochure and understand the audience, objective and action we want the reader
to take.
You will need to balance creativity with accuracy. Our products support important financial and operational processes,
so claims must be clear, supportable and consistent.
What Company offers
• The opportunity to help shape the internal marketing function of an established technology company.
• Varied work across software, cyber security, retail technology and corporate engagement.
• Direct access to experienced sales, product and technical colleagues.

• Professional development across content, campaigns, design and technology marketing.
REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
• 3 to 5 years in digital marketing, ideally B2B or for UK or international clients.
• Excellent written and spoken English is a must.
• Hands-on with Google Ads, Meta and LinkedIn Ads, and email tools like Mailchimp or HubSpot.
• Strong analytics skills (GA4, GTM) and a habit of letting the data guide decisions.
• A working understanding of SEO and social, enough to coordinate across the team.
• A degree in Marketing or a related subject, or equivalent hands-on experience.
