As a young and ambitious manufacturing startup, Quantum Fibretech offers professionals the unique opportunity to build markets, develop customer relationships, and create business processes from the ground up. The selected candidate will work directly with the promoters and leadership team and play a critical role in shaping the company's commercial growth journey.
We are currently expanding our presence across private telecom operators, broadband service providers, cable television networks, EPC contractors, power utilities, and government infrastructure projects.

Role Objective:
The Business Development & Marketing Executive will be responsible for identifying business opportunities, generating enquiries, securing purchase orders, and expanding the company's customer base across the CATV, OFC, OPGW, and Telecom Infrastructure sectors.
This is a hands-on business development role requiring the candidate to build business from scratch, develop new customer relationships, create market presence, and establish sustainable sales channels across India.
The role requires proactive market development, customer engagement, sales closure, and tender opportunity tracking to drive sustainable revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Business Development & Sales
•Generate new business opportunities and secure orders for OFC, CATV, OPGW, and related telecom cable products.
•Develop and maintain strong relationships with:
oMulti System Operators (MSOs)oLocal Cable Operators (LCOs)
oInternet Service Providers (ISPs)
oTelecom Operators
oEPC Contractors
oSystem Integrators
oBroadband Service Providers
oCorporate & Enterprise Network Customers

oLocal Cable Operators (LCOs)
oInternet Service Providers (ISPs)
oTelecom Operators
oEPC Contractors
oSystem Integrators
oBroadband Service Providers
oCorporate & Enterprise Network Customers

2. Market Development:
•Develop new markets and sales channels for OFC, CATV, and OPGW products.
•Establish dealer, distributor, channel partner, and institutional customer networks.
•Conduct market research and competitor analysis.
•Identify emerging opportunities in telecom, railway, power utility, broadband, and infrastructure sectors.
•Support branding, promotional, and marketing initiatives to increase market visibility.

3. Government Business & Tender Monitoring:
•Identify and track opportunities under:
oBharatNet Projects
oBSNL ProjectsRailway Telecom Projects
oRailTel Projects
oSmart City Projects
oDefence Communication Projects
oState Government Telecom Infrastructure Projects
oPower Utility & OPGW Projects

Monitor procurement portals including:
oGeM
oCPPP
oBSNL e-Procurement
oRailTel Tender Portal
oState Government Tender Portals

Coordinate with EPC contractors, system integrators, and consortium partners for supply opportunities.
•Maintain an updated tender tracker covering publication dates, EMD requirements, submission deadlines, and qualification criteria.
•Identify subcontracting and supply opportunities with prime contractors executing large government projects.

4. Customer Relationship Management:
•Develop and maintain long-term customer relationships.
•Ensure customer satisfaction through timely responses and support.
•Coordinate with internal teams for order execution and customer requirements.
•Follow up on enquiries, quotations, orders, and payments.
•Create repeat business opportunities and strengthen customer retention.

5. Reporting & MIS:
•Maintain an updated database of leads, enquiries, quotations, and orders.
•Submit weekly and monthly business development reports to management.
•Provide regular updates on:
oSales Pipeline
oCustomer Meetings
oOpportunities Under Negotiation
oOrders Received
oTender Opportunities
oCompetitor Activities
oMarket Intelligence

Mandatory Requirements:

2–10 years of experience in:
oOFC Sales
oCATV Cable Sales
oTelecom Products Sales
oTelecom Infrastructure Sales
oIndustrial Cable Sales
oEPC Business Development
•Demonstrated experience in customer acquisition and business development.
•Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
•Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to build business independently.
•Comfortable working in a startup environment with evolving systems and processes.
•Willingness to travel extensively across assigned territories.
