Role Summary
Prepare fabrication drawings, GA drawings, part lists, and support production & site teams with detail clarity.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare fabrication drawings, GA layouts, part drawings, BOQ.
- Develop cutting plans, nesting sheets, and bolt/plate details.
- Coordinate with project manager for fabrication/site requirements.
- Revise drawings based on client/consultant comments.
- Support site with erection drawings and as-built drawings.
- Ensure drawings follow IS codes, weld symbols, tolerances.
- Maintain revision control and drawing documentation.
Qualifications
- ITI/Diploma in Mechanical/Civil Drafting.
- 2–8 yrs in structural steel drafting.
- Software: AutoCAD, Tekla (preferred).
Required Skills
- Autocad mandatory)
- Knowledge of Structural detailing
- Basic understanding of load and material specifications.
Travel Requirement
- Minor travel (10-15%) to site/fabrication shop for measurement & checks.
