Job Description:

Job Title: Head – Human Resources

Location: Antroli, Surat, Gujarat
Industry: Manufacturing (Precast U-Drain / Infrastructure / Concrete Products)
Experience: 15+ Years (5+ years in manufacturing company)

Role Overview:
We are seeking a seasoned HR leader to head the Human Resources function for a fast-growing precast manufacturing organization. The role involves building a robust HR framework, driving workforce productivity, ensuring statutory compliance, and supporting business expansion through strategic HR interventions.

Key Responsibilities:
1. HR Strategy & Leadership:
* Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business objectives
* Act as a strategic partner to the leadership team
* Lead HR transformation initiatives to support plant expansion and operational efficiency
2. Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning:
* Plan and execute manpower requirements for plant and corporate functions
* Lead hiring for technical roles (production, quality, maintenance, projects)
* Build strong talent pipelines for blue-collar and white-collar workforce
3. Plant HR & Industrial Relations:
* Manage end-to-end plant HR operations
* Maintain healthy industrial relations and union management (if applicable)
* Handle grievances, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution
* Ensure smooth functioning of contract labor management
4. Performance Management & Capability Building
* Design and implement PMS/KPI frameworks
* Drive performance culture across plant and HO
* Identify training needs and implement L&D initiatives (technical & behavioral)
5. Statutory Compliance & Payroll:
* Ensure compliance with all labor laws: PF, ESIC, Factory Act, CLRA, etc.
* Oversee payroll, attendance, and statutory audits
* Liaise with government authorities and external consultants
6. HR Operations & Policies:
* Develop and implement HR policies, SOPs, and systems
* Digitize HR processes where possible (HRMS implementation)
* Ensure smooth onboarding, exit management, and employee lifecycle processes
7. Culture & Engagement:
* Drive employee engagement initiatives across plant and office
* Build a high-performance and safety-oriented culture
* Strengthen employer branding in the local market

Key Requirements:
* MBA / PGDM in Human Resources or equivalent
* 15+ years of experience, with at least 5+ years in a leadership role
* Strong exposure to manufacturing / plant HR (mandatory)
* Experience in industrial relations and labor law compliance
* Proven ability to manage large blue-collar workforce
* Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
* Experience in infrastructure, construction materials, or precast industry preferred

* Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
* Familiarity with Surat/Gujarat labor ecosystem
* Reporting To: Managing Director / CEO
