 Job Description – QA / Software Tester

Experience: 1–3 Years

Location: Surat 

Role Overview :

Key Responsibilities 

 Understand business and functional requirements from BA documentation.

 Create test cases, test scenarios, and test plans.

 Perform manual testing of web applications.

 Identify, document, and track bugs and issues.

 Work closely with developers to reproduce and resolve defects.

 Perform regression testing after fixes.

 Verify feature functionality across different browsers and devices.

 Maintain proper test documentation and reports.

 Support UAT testing and release validation. 

Required Skills 

 Strong understanding of software testing lifecycle (STLC)

 Experience in manual testing

 Ability to write test cases and bug reports

 Familiarity with bug tracking tools 

 Good analytical and problem-solving skills

 Basic understanding of SQL and APIs

Preferred Skills 

 Experience in API testing (Postman / Swagger)

 Experience testing web-based applications and Mobile apps 

Optional: Skills 

 Workflow-based applications

 ERP-style systems

 Data validation and reporting

 Complex business logic testing
