Job Brief:
We are seeking a Tech Lead Python Developer with 5+ years of experience to lead a development team, manage multiple projects, and handle client communication. The role requires strong technical expertise, leadership capabilities, and the ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
Responsibilities & Duties:
Technical & Team Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and guide a team of Python developers
- Conduct code reviews and ensure best coding practices
- Design system architecture and make technical decisions
- Resolve complex technical issues and provide solutions
Project Management
- Handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Work closely with Project Managers and stakeholders to define scope and timelines
- Plan sprints, estimate tasks, and track delivery milestones
- Ensure on-time, high-quality project delivery
Client Communication
- Act as the primary technical contact for clients
- Attend client calls, understand requirements, and propose solutions
- Share regular updates and manage client expectations
- Handle technical escalations and change requests
Development Responsibilities
- Hands-on development using Python
- Work with frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI
- Develop and maintain REST APIs and backend services
- Collaborate with QA and DevOps teams for smooth releases
Quality & Process
- Ensure code quality, security, and performance standards
- Follow Agile/Scrum processes and documentation practices
- Drive continuous improvement within the team
Technical Skills
- 5+ years of experience in Python development
- Strong experience with Django / Flask / FastAPI
- Knowledge of RESTful APIs and backend architecture
- Experience with databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB)
- Familiarity with Git, CI/CD, and deployment processes
Leadership & Soft Skills
- Experience leading or mentoring development teams
- Excellent client communication and presentation skills
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making ability
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)
- Agile/Scrum experience
- Exposure to frontend technologies is a plus
