Job Description:
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
- Design & Modeling: Develop accurate 2D drawings and 3D models of components and assemblies.
- Collaboration: Work with mechanical engineers, manufacturing, and other teams to define requirements and refine designs.
- Documentation: Create and maintain technical drawings, bill of materials (BOMs), and design documentation, managing revisions.
- Analysis & Validation: Perform simulations (like FEA) to test designs for performance, strength, and feasibility.
- Manufacturing Support: Optimize designs for manufacturability (DFM) and support production.
- Quality & Standards: Ensure designs meet industry standards, safety regulations, and project specifications.
- Problem-Solving: Troubleshoot design-related issues and provide technical solutions.
- Project Management: Estimate timelines, manage design files, and track progress.
