Job Description:
We are seeking a highly experienced Diamond Grader with exceptional attention to detail and deep knowledge of diamond quality assessment. This position is ideal for a seasoned professional who is confident in evaluating the most demanding stones and contributes meaningfully to quality assurance, internal consultation, and advanced grading decisions.Key Responsibilities:• Grade loose diamonds for color, clarity, cut, and carat weight in accordance with company and industry standards.• Evaluate and document complex or high-clarity stones with a focus on consistency and accuracy.• Identify and interpret challenging internal characteristics and inclusions at the highest level of clarity grades.• Participate in internal discussions and second opinions for nuanced grading decisions.• Collaborate with quality control and gemological research teams to uphold and refine grading standards.• Support team development through mentoring and knowledge sharing, where appropriate.• Assist in review and final verification of grading reports before certification.Qualifications:• Minimum 7–10 years of diamond grading experience in a high-volume, high-precision laboratory environment.• Graduate Gemologist (GG) or equivalent certification preferred.• Demonstrated expertise in evaluating high-clarity stones.• Deep familiarity with a wide range of diamond shapes, cutting styles, and treatments.• Excellent visual acuity and microscope proficiency.• Strong written and verbal communication skills.• Commitment to discretion, consistency, and impartiality.
