Job Description:
- Database Management:
- Install, configure, and upgrade SQL Server databases.
- Manage database objects (tables, views, stored procedures, etc.).
- Monitor database performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions.
- Perform regular database maintenance tasks, such as index rebuilding and query optimization.
- Ensure data integrity and consistency.
- Backup and Recovery:
- Design and implement robust backup and recovery strategies.
- Monitor and maintain backups to ensure data can be restored in case of failure.
- Security:
- Implement and maintain database security policies and procedures.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and roles.
- Monitor for and respond to security threats.
- Skills:
- Strong knowledge of SQL Server database architecture and administration.
- Experience with database backup and recovery techniques.
- Knowledge of database security principles and practices.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
