Manager- The Title and Settlement Services Specialist

Position Overview:
The Title and Settlement Services Specialist will play a crucial role in managing all aspects of
the title and settlement process. This includes overseeing title services such as open orders,
title searches, tax research, abstractor management, commitment typing, CPL issuance, pre-
closure disclosures, PACER and Patriot searches, as well as settlement services such as title
curative tasks (mortgage, judgment, lien, vesting, and subordination), payoffs, HOA searching,
municipal lien searches, closing disclosure preparation, scheduling, notary signing, post-closure
audit, recording, e-recording, policy typing, and mailing. The ideal candidate will have a strong
background in real estate transactions, exceptional organizational skills, and a commitment to
delivering outstanding customer service.
He/she should have approx. 10 years of relevant experience and shall be at middle management role
(Manager, Sr Manager).
US Shift – 8:30 am EST to 5pm EST (6:00pm IST to 3:30am IST)
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage the entire title and settlement process from open order to post-closure activities.
2. Conduct thorough title searches and examinations to verify property ownership and
identify any liens or encumbrances.
3. Perform tax research and coordinate with appropriate authorities to resolve any
outstanding issues.
4. Oversee abstractor management and ensure timely delivery of accurate title reports.
5. Prepare and review title commitments, CPLs, pre-closure disclosures, closing
disclosures, and other related documents.
6. Coordinate with lenders, real estate agents, buyers, and sellers to schedule closings and
ensure all parties are informed throughout the process.
7. Facilitate notary signings and ensure all closing documents are accurately executed.
8. Conduct post-closure audits to verify that all documents have been properly recorded
and filed.
9. Handle policy typing, issuance, and mailing in accordance with company policies and
procedures.
10. Stay informed about relevant laws, regulations, and industry trends to ensure
compliance and mitigate risk.
