Interior Fit-Out Engineer

Job Description:

Qualification       Diploma or degree in civil engineering

Experience         5 to 7 years

                                Experience of hotels or high end hotel is a must

Location               Mumbai (on-site) – High end residential flats interior

Job Description:

1. Works as part of the site team liaising with and working alongside architects, contractors. Responsible for site security, health and safety, and the organization and supervision of material and human resource
2. Checking plans, drawings and quantities for accuracy of calculations
3. Ensuring that all materials used and work performed are as per specifications Overseeing the selection and requisition of materials
4. Liaising with any consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors and the developer involved in the project;
5. Day-to-day management of the site, including supervising and monitoring the site labor force and the work of any subcontractors
6. Planning the work and efficiently organizing the site facilities in order to meet agreed deadlines
7. Overseeing quality control and health and safety matters on site
8. Preparing reports as required
9. Resolving any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise.
10. Checking and certifying measurement sheets, running account bills etc

Job Requirements

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proven Experience in Finishing high-end interior designs.
• Experience in coordination skills between MEP trades
• Understand the design process and fully comprehend the client s needs and goals.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Resourcefulness and ability to manage several tasks and projects simultaneously.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Well-developed time management and project management skills required to undertake multiple projects
• Good working knowledge of software: MS word, Excel, AutoCAD.
