Data Analysts - Ahmedabad

Job Description:

The analyst will be responsible for compiling and analysing sales, procurement and market data providing valuable feedback and actionable insights to guide our sales and procurement activities to help our organization sell more effectively.

To be successful as a you should be able to analyse large amounts of data, accurately project sales identify sales/ procurement opportunities, and provide practical guidance to optimize strategies and increase market share.

The role will be broken down in 3 areas primarily.

Sales

We have over 300 customers over 2 sites and 500 SKU, the sales element will begin with analysis of below and reporting to owners and sales manager.

• Send call daily statistics for the sales team.
• Reviewing quality of sales calls to customer
• Checking for new skus gained and lost per customers.
• Checking for new customer and customer lost
• Review low margin accounts.
• Review low spend accounts.
• Review dropping in spend accounts. #
• Analysis where gains in sales and margin can be made.
• Compiling, analysing, and reporting sales data.

Buying

We have 80 suppliers and 500 SKUS and will begin with analysis of below and reporting to procurement manager sales manager and owners.

• Check margin of top seller’s vs target
• Check sales of top seller’s vs target
• Check dropped margin items.
• Monitoring and evaluating product performance.
• Check competitors pricing vs our pricing and advise
• Conduct research into competitive companies and the surrounding market.
• Analyse where gains in sales and margin can be made

Data

• Keep an update sales distribution group for marketing material.
