Job Description:

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Service Executive to provide installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and after-sales support for Audio-Video (AV) Infrastructure Solutions. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with professional AV systems, strong technical knowledge, and excellent problem-solving abilities to ensure seamless customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, and commission Audio-Video systems at client locations.
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of AV infrastructure.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot issues related to AV equipment, networking, and control systems.
  • Attend service calls and resolve customer complaints within the defined turnaround time.
  • Conduct system testing to ensure optimal performance after installation or repair.
  • Coordinate with the sales and project teams during project execution and handover.
  • Provide user training and operational guidance to clients.
  • Maintain service reports, installation records, and maintenance logs.
  • Ensure compliance with company quality and safety standards.
  • Support warranty and AMC (Annual Maintenance Contract) service activities.
  • Coordinate with OEMs/vendors for technical support and spare parts when required.
  • Travel to customer sites for installation and service activities as required.

Required Skills

  • Strong knowledge of professional Audio-Video systems and infrastructure.
  • Experience with projectors, LED displays, video walls, conferencing systems, audio systems, amplifiers, microphones, and control systems.
  • Basic understanding of structured cabling, networking, and IP-based AV solutions.
  • Ability to read wiring diagrams and technical drawings.
  • Strong troubleshooting and fault-finding skills.
  • Good communication and customer handling skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple service assignments.

Preferred Technical Knowledge

  • Audio DSP systems
  • Video conferencing solutions
  • AV over IP technologies
  • HDMI, VGA, USB, CAT6, Fiber connectivity
  • Rack assembly and cable management
  • Networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, LAN)
  • Knowledge of control systems such as Crestron, Extron, or AMX is an advantage.

Educational Qualification

  • Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • Relevant certifications in AV technologies will be an added advantage.

Experience

  • 1-2 years of experience in installation and servicing of professional Audio-Video solutions.
  • Experience in corporate offices, educational institutions, hospitality, healthcare, government, or commercial AV projects will be preferred.
