A Finance & Accounts Executive is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting principles, and supporting financial planning and analysis. They manage accounts payable and receivable, reconcile bank statements, and assist with audits.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate accounting records:
This includes entering transactions, reconciling bank statements, and ensuring all financial records are up-to-date.
- Prepare financial statements:
This involves creating monthly, quarterly, and annual reports, as well as supporting the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable:
This includes processing invoices, tracking payments, and ensuring timely settlement of debts.
- Assist with audits:
This may involve providing documentation, answering questions, and ensuring compliance with audit requirements.
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles:
This involves following generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and other applicable regulations.
- Support financial planning and analysis:
This includes assisting with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support decision-making.
- Process vendor invoices:
This includes accurately recording transactions, including TDS and GST, in accounting systems.
- Maintain accurate records of exports:
This may include preparing commercial invoices, packing lists, and other relevant documents, as well as maintaining records using ERP software.
- Assist in process improvements and standardization:
This includes identifying areas for improvement and implementing new procedures.
- Maintain positive interpersonal relationships:
This includes collaborating with team members and other departments to ensure accurate and timely financial information.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Knowledge of tax regulations and compliance.
- Gst, Tds, Advance excel, Aduit.
- Well versed in MS Excel.
