NPD Executive / Manager- Delhi

Job Description:

Role Overview:
We are looking for an experienced NPD Manager specializing in makeup and color
cosmetics to lead end-to-end product development. The ideal candidate should have
hands-on experience in managing makeup NPD, strong market understanding, and the
ability to drive innovation aligned with brand and consumer needs.

Key Responsibilities:
 Lead the complete NPD lifecycle for makeup and color cosmetics from concept
to commercialization
 Drive product innovation based on market trends, competitor analysis, and
consumer insights
 Currently handling and owning makeup NPD projects, ensuring timely execution
and delivery
 Work closely with R&D, formulation labs, packaging teams, and external vendors
for product development
 Manage sourcing of raw materials, pigments, packaging, and innovative
components specific to color cosmetics
 Oversee formulation trials, shade development, texture validation, stability
testing, and product approvals
 Collaborate with marketing and brand teams for product positioning, claims, and
go-to-market strategies
 Ensure compliance with regulatory, safety, and quality standards for cosmetic
products
 Monitor project timelines, costing, and margins to ensure commercial viability
 Lead cross-functional coordination with procurement, supply chain, and
operations teams

 Analyze post-launch performance and drive continuous product improvements

Key Requirements:
 Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Cosmetics, Chemistry, or related field
 3-6 years of experience in NPD/Product Development in makeup and color
cosmetics
 Strong hands-on experience in currently handling makeup NPD (mandatory)
 In-depth knowledge of formulation, pigments, textures, and packaging in color
cosmetics
 Experience working with vendors, labs, and third-party manufacturers
(domestic/international preferred)
 Strong project management and stakeholder management skills
 Ability to work in a fast-paced D2C/startup environment

Preferred Skills:
 Experience in D2C beauty or personal care brands
 Strong understanding of beauty trends, shade ranges, and consumer
preferences
 Exposure to international sourcing (China/Korea/Europe) for cosmetic products
 High ownership, problem-solving mindset, and execution focus
