Job Description:
We are looking for a dedicated Maintenance Engineer Mechanical to ensure the smooth
operation and mechanical upkeep of critical equipment at Magicretes AAC manufacturing
facility. The role involves implementing preventive and predictive maintenance schedules,
troubleshooting breakdowns, and ensuring compliance with safety and performance standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage mechanical maintenance of key AAC plant equipment, including Boilers, Steam Lines, Autoclaves, Blowers, Compressors, Pumps, Gearboxes, and Overhead/EOT Cranes
- Execute preventive and predictive maintenance schedules to reduce downtime and extend equipment life
- Diagnose root causes of mechanical failures and implement corrective actions to restore
operational continuity
- Maintain and troubleshoot Pneumatic and Hydraulic systems efficiently
- Ensure compliance with plant safety standards and statutory regulations during maintenance activities
- Promote and implement 5S practices across maintenance operations for improved efficiency and organization
- Coordinate with production teams to align maintenance tasks with operational requirements
- Maintain detailed records, logs, and documentation of maintenance activities
- Contribute to continual improvement initiatives in plant performance and mechanical reliability
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized institution
Experience & Industry Background
- 2 years+ of hands-on mechanical maintenance experience in an AAC manufacturing plant
- Proven expertise in handling Boilers, Autoclaves, Steam systems, and other rotary equipment
- Experience in implementing condition-based maintenance strategies such as vibration or oil analysis
Skills & Competencies
- Deep understanding of mechanical systems in AAC manufacturing
- Proficiency in maintaining and repairing rotary and static equipment
- Knowledge of Pneumatic and Hydraulic systems troubleshooting
- Hands-on experience with maintenance planning tools and reporting
- Strong analytical and diagnostic abilities for failure analysis
- Awareness of plant safety protocols and regulatory compliance
- Familiarity with condition monitoring techniques such as vibration analysis, oil analysis, and thermography
- Understanding of maintenance management systems (CMMS) is an added advantage
