Job Description:
Key responsibilities:
  • Project planning and execution: Lead the end-to-end management of projects across the planning, design, and construction phases. This includes preparing detailed project plans, defining scope, and allocating resources.
  • Budgeting and financial oversight: Develop, manage, and monitor project budgets, cost estimates, and financial forecasts. Negotiate contracts with external vendors and contractors to ensure cost-efficiency.
  • Scheduling and time management: Create and maintain project timelines and schedules, track progress against milestones, and proactively address any potential delays.
  • Team and stakeholder coordination: Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including architects, engineers, and construction crews. Manage communication and expectations for clients, investors, and community stakeholders.
  • Risk management and compliance: Identify and mitigate potential project risks, including regulatory hurdles, site conditions, and budget overruns. Ensure compliance with all local zoning laws, building codes, permits, and safety regulations.
  • Quality control: Oversee on-site construction to monitor progress and ensure that all work meets quality standards.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present regular project status reports, updates, and financial documentation for senior management and stakeholders.
  • Problem-solving: Act as the central point of contact for resolving issues and conflicts that arise throughout the project lifecycle. 
Qualifications:
  • Education: A Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field is typically required. A Master's degree or PMP certification is often a plus.
  • Experience: Proven experience in real estate project management, with a track record of successfully delivering residential, commercial, or mixed-use development projects.
  • Technical skills: Proficiency with project management software (e.g., MS Project), MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and a basic understanding of construction processes and drawings.

  • Exceptional leadership: Ability to motivate and lead cross-functional teams and effectively manage diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong communication: Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills to effectively communicate with all project participants.

  • Detail-oriented: Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy in budgeting, reporting, and regulatory compliance.
  • Adaptability: Capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
