Job Description:
Roles & Responsibilities:
Responsible for overall performance and day to day activities of quality control dept.
Overall supervision of quality control activities during incoming material, mechanical lab, in-process, proto
tower inspection and final inspection of finished goods.
Responsible to maintain product quality as per quality assurance plan, customer requirements and
applicable national / International standards specification.
Ensures implementation of quality and documented inspection procedures and records are maintained.
Raising Inspection calls after readiness of material to third party inspection agencies proactively.
Manage customers and 3rd party inspectors during inspections.
Preparing, reviewing and monitoring Quality Objectives of the department for improvement.
Create awareness and ensure that customer’s quality requirements are met during every process.
Guiding QC inspectors in planning QC activities and placements within the department.
Prepare daily Monthly MIS Data and send to management.
Raw Materials GRN and Heap card approval within 24 hours.
Resolution of Customer Complaints within 48 hours.
Root Cause analysis for customer compliments with CAPA.
Review and sign of all daily quality documents, records, checklist etc.
Customer / 3rd party Inspection arranging and conducting.
Daily Process audit is to be done for strengthen the process quality
Attending daily DWM/Morning/ Departmental meeting and take actions on important issues raised during
meeting.
Review of QAP, Drawings and Customer specification and advice to quality team and respective
departments proactively to avoid non conferences during manufacturing processes.
Preparing and maintaining Welding WPS, PQR records.
Prepare internal audit schedule and conduct the audits accordingly.
Co-ordinate with HR for Client, guest, Inspection activities.
Customer / 3rd party Inspection reports and data to be sent to Projects/Marketing dept after inspection.
Co-ordinate with customer, supplier and Lab personnel's.
Verification of FG materials before 3rd party inspection.
Sending ITP, MQAP, to client if required.
Analyses of NCR Rework, Rejection with graph with necessary CAPA to avoid recurrences.
Authorized to stop any Process if any major deviation is observed on the process.
Daily /weekly internal department meeting to be done.
To follow instructions, rules, regulations and discipline laid down by management.
Renewal of ISO certificate.
Kick off meeting with Engg, PPC, Fabrication and Project department for Major project before start the
production.
Receiving, Storing & Disposing hazarders & Non hazarders waste on timely basis
Impart on the job training for the team members.
Doing PMS of team members and submitting to HR
Preparing & Achieving Department Objective
Compliance adherence to TQMS, EHS,5S as per requirement & maintain the records
Preparation of Departmental monthly MRM report and presenting to Management.
Practicing And Recording all legal and pollution board norms accordingly.
Educational Background and Experience: - Bachelors /diploma in engineering having 15+ yrs. of work experience in quality
dept. ISO training Certificates.
