Job Description:

We are looking for a highly experienced and committed Service HOD to lead and manage our after-sales service operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely service delivery, improving customer satisfaction, and building a proactive service infrastructure across all regions we serve. This role is crucial in maintaining long-term client relationships, minimizing downtime at client sites, and supporting our reputation as a reliable manufacturer of bulk material handling chains for the cement and heavy industries.

• Lead and manage the entire service department across all regions
• Ensure timely and effective after-sales support for all clients
• Develop and implement service protocols, standards, and documentation
• Monitor and improve service response time and complaint resolution
• Oversee AMC, warranty claims, and preventive maintenance schedules
• Coordinate with sales, production, and quality teams for service alignment
• Conduct service audits and maintain compliance with safety standards
• Analyze customer feedback and initiate product or process improvements
• Train, mentor, and evaluate service engineers and support staff
• Plan manpower allocation for service visits and site support
• Maintain strong relationships with key clients and plant heads
• Ensure availability of service tools, spares, and technical documentation
• Travel to major customer sites when required for escalated issues or inspections

Skills Required:
• Experience in service, maintenance, or technical support (preferably in cement, steel, or heavy machinery industries)
• Strong knowledge of bulk material handling systems and industrial chain mechanisms
• Proven leadership in managing service teams and multi-location service support
• Must have hands-on knowledge of installation and breakdown resolution
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Familiar with service documentation, reporting, and audit procedures
• Strong communication and client-handling skills
• Experience with ERP systems and service management software
• Ability to train and develop technical teams
• Knowledge of safety standards and on-site work protocols
• Customer-focused mindset with strong analytical abilities
• Willingness to travel to client sites as needed
